Cameron is an awesome teacher! He has made every lesson fun and engaging and has tailored them around my personal musical goals and tastes. He transcribes music that I choose to work with rather than using material that doesn't inspire me, and I really feel that he genuinely cares about my musical growth and development. He's warm and encouraging, I look forward to each lesson and always come away feeling that I've made progress. Can't recommend him enough!

Cameron is simply a great teacher. You don’t find many people who are fully classically trained, a bona fide rock star, nice, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, and inspirational! Cameron taught me bass guitar.
I went from a very basic level to being able to play London’s Calling by the Clash and several other songs with a non-trivial bass line in a few months. With his help once a week I went on to play Is She Really Going Out With Him (Joe Jackson), Hey Joe (Hendrix) and many others, as well as having the confidence to play public blues jams with people I’d never played with before. I couldn’t recommend Cameron more highly – grab him while you can.

"Cameron is the best teacher ever. My daughter began studying (very reluctantly) with him, when she was five. Within two lessons, his personality, and his ability to connect, had won her over. Today, after two years of studying with him, her relationship with the piano is exactly what I'd wanted it to be. For her, the piano is a source of joy, a means of expression, and an instrument she respects. I don't have to push her to practice, she wants to, because of the fun and the expectations he sets. In addition to all the technical stuff, he also spends a healthy dose of time encouraging her creativity, which is the best–they've now created her first CD (of her own music plus traditional stuff), which she's SO proud of. In all, I would say that in addition to being a great technical teacher, he has the unique ability to nurture his student's passion, which is just miraculous. He's truly the best and any student would be lucky to work with him."

I found out about Cameron's lessons through a friend of mine and I'm so happy that I did! My daughter had lessons once before with another teacher and didn't quite connect. He is very good with children; patient, fun, with a good sense of discipline mixed in. Felicia really can't wait for her lesson each week. She enjoys the games and loves when she's finished learning a piece of music so that she can have it recorded. For me, I enjoy having the recordings to really hear the progress she's making (and to show to family and friends!). Overall, I'm very happy with the lessons and I highly recommend Cameron as a teacher for your child.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to write a testimonial for Mr Cameron Keym. Over the past three years I have been learning to play guitar and have had lessons with numerous teachers. I was never really completely satisfied until I started learning from Cameron.
I think for me one of the best elements Cameron brought to the lessons was not only a very in-depth knowledge of the guitar but of music and the music industry in general. I learnt way above and beyond simple guitar lessons and being able to compare the various aspects of the instrument in terms of the structure and mechanisms of the guitar to piano, bass guitar and music overall made it much more interesting and easy to comprehend the complete dynamics of what I was trying to achieve.
He has a very relaxed persona and I felt immediately comfortable. His cool but exceptionally intelligent teaching style allows for the best classroom environment where learning is always the key focus, but still and possibly most importantly always FUN and enjoyable.
I really loved my lessons and now Cam has made the move to the states over sunny London I am even considering travelling across the pond for a few more jam sessions.
