Cameron Keym is a dedicated music educator, bringing over 25 years of enriching musical experiences to students of diverse ages and skill levels across the U.S., Europe, and Mexico.
With a deep-rooted passion for music education, Cameron emphasizes the importance of identifying each student's current musical inspiration. His teaching approach revolves around building a solid foundation in the language of music and technical skills tailored to individual interests. Cameron's primary goal is to instill a lifelong passion and joy for music, fostering an environment of inspiration, encouragement, and discipline to empower his students to exceed their musical potential.
Recognizing the significance of creativity, Cameron actively encourages his students to explore their artistic uniqueness. Drawing from his own extensive musical journey, he earned his Bachelor's degree in music from Hofstra University |magna cum laude|, specializing in classical piano. At the age of 18, Cameron signed his first record deal and has since continued to write, record, and perform original music with various rock bands.
Cameron's musical endeavors extend beyond the classroom, with his compositions featured in films and video games, including the widely popular Guitar Hero III. With over a decade of professional touring experience, he has graced renowned venues across the globe, such as the 02 Arena in London, CBGBs, Irving Plaza, and Roseland Ballroom in NYC, the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, and various House of Blues venues nationwide.
His diverse background, blending academic excellence with real-world musical accomplishments, uniquely positions Cameron to guide aspiring musicians in discovering their own artistic voices.
